Toxic Radiation Affecting Apollo Residents

Toxic Radiation Affecting Apollo Residents

toxicGoldberg, Persky & White is acting as Local Counsel representing area residents who filed federal lawsuits against Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group and the Atlantic Richfield Company.

The Plaintiffs alleged that these companies operated the nuclear enriching facility located in Apollo, Pennsylvania, and that the facility operations emitted nuclear radiation which caused illnesses, cancers, and death. The lawsuit alleges that the Defendants operated the uranium fuel-processing plant in Apollo, Pennsylvania from 1957-1986.

The lawyers for these large corporations have thrown everything but the kitchen sink in opposing our claims but GPW is fighting for our clients who have been sickened and killed by the radioactive contamination. These cases are expected to go to trial in 2013.
